Universal jukebox replacement phono cartridge. Well sort of.... This has the proper tracking weight and needle tip so if you can mount it, this does work. The needle is VERY Fragile! Even the hair brush on a Rockola 478 can break the needle free of it's rubber mount. We destroyed 2 needles before we got it to work. It is better to find a used Shure M44E off an old turntable, but this does work.Manufacturer buy-line:Can be used mono or stereo. more info: Universal Heavy-Duty MD cartridge MG-55C. Low cost general purpose magnetic cartridge suitable for record changers, juke box and DJ applications. Standard half inch mount.. Replaces Pickering NP/AC, Stanton 400V3, Shure M44C and similar cartridges designed for automatic record changers or jukeboxes. Output Voltage: 4.2mv Tracking force 3 - 5 grams. To mount on a Rowe Jukebox we drilled out the mounting holes to 1/8" to fit Rowe's 4x40 screws. Then make 2 spacers as shown in the pictures below. This tracks well with a slightly higher tone with less bass than the original Shure cartridge. It is a pretty good match
