Octal 3-STATE Buffer/Line Driver/Line Receiver - 74LS240F Integrated Circuit, 20 pin Dual Inline Package (ceramic).  This is the older original Signetics design in the ceramic package.

These are new old stock from our very old parts bins.  All tested good on a Minipro TL866CS eprom programmer with CMOS/TTL chip testing capabilities. See the pics below.
