Here we fixed a Jennings Indian Head slot called Tic-Tac-Toe. Most of these old slots are just stuck from lack of service over the long years. This one also had some bent parts, probably caused by an attempted repair. The service notes follow:
07/12/2016 First look at your game I found the spring missing on the 1st reel stop arm. Then found a bent bracket causing the the clock to jam, it was cracked and broke trying to bent it, had to braze it back together. Then found ALL the rotating bearings were gummed up with a dried grease that turned into a hard plastic like substance, this forced me to take the whole mechanism apart and remove said grease and replace it. This got most of the machine working but no payout yet. After removing all the payout plates and during re-installation I found the top cover (on the payout slide plates) was bent and it jammed the top payout plate during play. Straightening the top plate cover fixed the payout. The coin-in roller was gummed up also. I then went back and cleaned/oiled/greased most everything. The coin jackpot box on the front was put together wrong and was also gummed up, it was probably rigged not to payout jackpots by the original operator. I put it back together correctly and tested it. Please note: The pay-table on the game indicates Tic-Tac-Toe wins jackpot, it actually wins jackpot every other Tic-Tac-Toe, by design. Cleaned/buffed the outside cabinet chrome. Cleaned the glass. Tested 200 pulls.
