Rockola Jukebox model 1422

This very old Rockola 1422 started out as a service call, as most do.  As usual it needed much more than we can do on location.  After replacing the phonograph needle and cartridge we had a lot of lubrication and minor adjustments to do.  It takes a long time to get it purring along mostly due to dried up grease and oil. 

We do not look for this kind of machine.  We generally will turn down this type of work.  This machine is tricky to transport due to it's fragile nature.  The parts can take time to purchase.  When a machine becomes more a piece of art than repair project we would rather not take on the responsibility.  We take these projects on a case by case basis.  Please ask us before you bring 70 year old equipment to us.
