50 Years old and still working! At least it is now This old juke was a little tempermental at first but it finally came to life. A couple of bad tubes, a clutch adjustment, and a home made fix for the Selection indicator slide brakets and off she goes. The service notes follow:
Clips broken on Selection Playing slider, dragging, rigged 2 nylon wire holders to hold it up. Mechanism - lubed, adjusted clutch, cleaned switches, fixed mute switch. Tormat Control unit - replaced 12AX7 and 6X4 tubes, both 2050 tubes are still weak and should be replaced, cleaned all relays and switches. Amplifier - cleaned mute relay, volume control and all switches/plugs. Album play unit - cleaned all relays. Selector mech - cleaned all contacts and lubed.
